The DAWN Remap Kit for PS4 controllers is an evolutionary upgrade kit that adds high-level gaming functionality to your controller.
The DAWN Remap Kit includes an upgraded back case with a remap board and four additional ergonomic buttons. This kit allows you to easily transform your PS4 (JDM-04 & JDM-05) compatible controller into a professional eSports gamepad with four additional programmable remap buttons.
This remap upgrade solution is competitive and fully legal for online gaming and tournaments.
The 15 buttons are remapped to the four additional buttons, and you press these two buttons with your middle finger.
This is a benefit during fast-paced FPS and shooter games, as you don't have to move away from the sticks and triggers to access other buttons, such as the face buttons.
Notes:
Compatible with PS4 JDM-040/JDM-050/JDM-055 controllers only (with touchpad light bar)
Controller not included.
The controller must be disassembled for installation and basic hands-on skills are required.
Installation is easy:
DAWN remap kits are easy to install and soldering is optional.
Most other solutions on the market use hot melt glue to add the four buttons to the back case.
With the DAWN remap kit, the buttons are simply set with a screw.
Optional soldering. If you don't need to remap the L3, R3 and touchpad buttons, no soldering is required.

eXtremeRate has innovated two operation modes to enter button programming mode: touch control and button combination.
If you are worried about accidentally touching the touch sensor while playing games, you can cut the foil wire of the touch control.
You can activate the remapping program during the game to assign up to 15 buttons (X, O, Triangle, Square, Up, Down, Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, L3, R3 and touchpad buttons) to the back buttons.
