The 15 buttons are remapped to the four additional buttons, and you press these two buttons with your middle finger.
This is a benefit during fast-paced FPS and shooter games, as you don't have to move away from the sticks and triggers to access other buttons, such as the face buttons.

Controller not included.
Turn your PS5 controller into a professional eSports elite controller. Compatible with PS5 controllers BDM-010 (CFI-ZCT1*) and BDM-020 (CFI-ZCT1*A). Not compatible with BDM-030. (Please check the model number on the back case or motherboard model before purchasing.)
Installation requires disassembly of the controller and requires a high level of hands-on skill.
Optional soldering. If you don't need to remap the L3, R3 and touchpad buttons, no soldering is required.

On-the-fly button remapping Simply press and hold the settings button on the back for 3 seconds to enter button programming mode.
You can activate the remapping program during the game to assign up to 15 buttons (X, O, Triangle, Square, Up, Down, Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, L3, R3 and touchpad buttons) to the back buttons.
